Imagery is available in BitTorrent format.  BitTorrents are often used for distribution of very large files, as it is faster and more efficient to distribute files using BitTorrent than a regular download. BitTorrent files allow for periodic interuptions and are more reliable than zip files for large data sets.

BitTorrents require additional software, known as a client, which can be downloaded from many online sources.  BitTorrent clients allow the user to download torrent files. 

It is necessary to have a working BitTorrent client in order to download imagery from the map below. Additionally, please ensure you have outgoing encryption enabled.

After downloading and installing the client software (utorrent, for example) click on a county to download the orthoimagery for the entire county.  By clicking on the county, your BitTorrent client should automatically start the download within several minutes (depending upon user settings).  The complete data set includes a compressed county image and its associated metadata.
