Get informed:
If you live in Oregon, you can generate a report of known hazards for where you live by using the Oregon Hazards Reporter. You can obtain hazard information by contacting the Oregon Emergency Management Department or an Oregon chapter of the American Red Cross.
Protect your property:
In the following counties in Oregon, you can find out if your home or prospective home is in a flood zone by using the Oregon Hazards Reporter:

Deschutes
Lane
Marion
Morrow
Polk
and City of Portland

Get involved with Community Protection and Mitigation Planning:
You can participate in the process of refining and implementing your local Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) by learning more about community wildfire protection planning efforts in your area (PDF file) or by contacting the National Fire Plan Coordinator at the Oregon Department of Forestry, Jen Warren at 503-359-7428.
